7 Good Advice for Back Pain

Are you or someone you know plagued by back pain? Here are 7 good old women's tips and measures to reduce back pain - something that can improve both quality of life and daily routine. Do you have any other good suggestions or advice? Feel free to use the comments field or contact us directly Facebook. These women's advice must naturally be taken with a pinch of salt and always complemented with regular clinical assessment, treatment and exercises, but we have therefore chosen to include only those we believe have a certain research-based effect.

1. Drink ginger

Ginger has proven anti-inflammatory effect and can also work as a pain reliever. Therefore, we recommend that you drink 2-3 cups of ginger daily - this will also have a number of other health benefits. Another old woman's advice is to grind ginger roots and then add eucalyptus oil to the mixture - then massage this on the area that hurts.

Ginger

  • ginger: Cut 4-8 thin slices with fresh ginger root and then add hot water (80-90 degrees). Let this soak for 5-10 minutes and allow the drink to cool slightly. Then add some honey and lemon and drink it.

2. Lubricate the back with garlic oil

Another old woman's advice is to massage the sore area with garlic oil - and to eat 2-3 cloves of garlic a day. The council says that you should then eat this in the morning on an empty stomach and rinse with water - this can of course provide some exciting social challenges for you who are a lot among people, but look forward to it; it should keep vampires (and maybe back pain?) away.

3. Eat poppy seeds

This advice is based on the fact that poppy seeds are claimed to have a pain-relieving effect in the fight against back pain. The Council says:

  • Crush 100 grams of poppy seeds and mix it into another seed mixture
  • Then eat 2 teaspoons of this daily

Bathe in Epsom salt

Epsom salt is a special type of salt that is said to have a number of health benefits. Mix the epsom salt with warm water until it is like a thick mass. Then place a towel on top of the pulp and allow it to soak well. Then place the towel over the back part of the back that is sore.

Bath

  • Alternatively, you can add two cups of Epsom salt to the bath - then lie in the water for about 30 minutes.

5. Drink chamomile

The old women also advise you to drink chamomile, as this can reportedly reduce muscle tension and thus reduce back pain. Drink 1-3 cups daily.

6. Milk

Not a remedy for the lactose intolerant. Milk has a high content of calcium, which is needed for strong, healthy bones. On this basis, the women's council has decided to recommend that you drink milk daily to reduce back pain.

Dairy

7. Wheatgrass and green vegetables

Green vegetables are a wonderful source of clean energy - which does the whole body good. For good effect, we recommend that you mix two teaspoons of wheatgrass supplement in a glass of water and drink this daily. The energy from such plants is easy for the body to absorb.

Also remember:

Exercise and exercise are essential for keeping muscles and joints in good shape. Try to get a routine of going at least one walk a day, and then make sure you walk without the cell phone in your hands in front of you, rather let your shoulders and arms swing freely so you get good blood circulation around your neck and shoulders. Swimming is also a very good form of exercise. Why not try these exercises for better function in the back and abdomen?

What can I do (more conservatively) against back and back pain?

1. General exercise, specific exercise, stretching and activity are recommended, but stay within the pain limit. Two walks a day of 20-40 minutes make good for the whole body and sore muscles.

2. Trigger point / massage balls we strongly recommend - they come in different sizes so you can hit well even on all parts of the body. There is no better self help than this! We recommend the following (click the image below) - which is a complete set of 5 trigger point / massage balls in different sizes:

3. Training: Specific training with training tricks of various opponents (such as this complete set of 6 knits of different resistance) can help you train strength and function. Knit training often involves more specific training, which in turn can lead to more effective injury prevention and pain reduction.

4. Pain Relief - Cooling: Biofreeze is a natural product that can relieve pain by cooling the area gently. Cooling is especially recommended when the pain is very severe. When they have calmed down then heat treatment is recommended - it is therefore advisable to have both cooling and heating available.

5. Pain Relief - Heating: Warming up tight muscles can increase blood circulation and reduce pain. We recommend the following reusable hot / cold gasket (click here to read more about it) - which can be used both for cooling (can be frozen) and for heating (can be heated in the microwave).
