6 Types of Food That Provides Better Memory

Did you know that certain types of food have proven effective when it comes to improving memory and providing healthier brain health? Here are 6 types of foods that you should eat more of if you want a healthy and healthy brain.

 

1. EGGS

Eggs are one of the very best sources of the nutrient choline. Food rich in choline has been linked to better memory and increased mental function. Eggs also contain protein which can also give a real boost.

2. WALNUTS

Walnuts are among the healthiest nuts one can eat. They contain a high level of the antioxidant vitamin E and have the highest content of polyunsaturated fatty acids among the most common nuts we eat here in Norway.

Salmon and other fatty fish (such as sardines and mackerel) contain a high level of DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid), both of which are very important for good brain health. Try eating oily fish several times a week to optimize the nutritional conditions of your brain.

4. Blueberries

Studies have shown that blueberries can prevent memory loss and impaired mental function. Blueberries are also packed with useful antioxidants that can have beneficial effects on the rest of the body as well.

5. PUMPKIN SEEDS

These seeds have a very high level of zinc. A nutrient that contributes to good thinking and memory. We recommend mixing pumpkin seeds (and flax seeds) in the cereal or baking dish.

6. COFFEE

Coffee is filled to the brim with antioxidants, especially if it is drunk in its black form without additives such as sugar and milk. Caffeine, in moderate doses, has also been linked to improved brain function. This also applies to tea.
