Sports tape and kinesio tape in the treatment of lower back and back pain

Sports tape is also known as kinesiotape or kinesiology tape. Sports tape and kinesio tape are used in the prevention and treatment of pain in the lower back (lower back) and other places in the back - as well as a number of other musculoskeletal areas. Such taping is very popular among athletes in many different sports and at different levels - from the top series all the way down to the corporate leagues. Too many athletes are too compression noise an important tool to improve performance and reduce the chance of injury.

Can it be used for pain in the lower back and back?

Yes, it can be used to provide a little extra relief and support to exposed muscles and joints - especially in connection with sports that are more prone to shocks and a little more 'explosive movements'. This includes motocross (shock absorption) and handball (many sudden twists and explosive movements).

How to tap it?

We recommend that you - at least for the first time - get help from a physiotherapist or chiropractor who can show you exactly how you should tape to provide support for your back. Be honest, say that you are only there to get an examination and also learn to tape up properly (if you do not need a little more treatment then). Otherwise, there are also many good tutorials on YouTube and the like.

Can it treat my sore back?

Honestly, this is probably not the solution to all your back problems - but it can be part of the solution. The complete solution should involve training and retraining of core muscles, as well as more correct movement in everyday life.
