- One glass of beer or wine a day gives stronger bone structure!

Bad conscience for the beer or wine you drank yesterday? Don't despair. In fact, if you stayed in the reins, your moderate intake could actually help you to build stronger bones. A study published in the renowned journal The America Journal of Clinical Nutrition showed that a moderate intake of alcohol (1-2 glasses a day) can give you higher bone density and thus reduce the chance of fracture.

The study showed that, compared to abstinence people, the bone density in the hip was among men who drank 1-2 beers 3.4 to 4.5% stronger. Among women who had gone through menopause were so hip and vertebrae as much as 5 - 8.3% stronger! This is a significant difference and can have a direct preventive effect on fractures and fractures - for example in the event of a fall on the ice and the like.

- The more, the better? No Unfortunately.

But… you took maybe more than two glasses yesterday? Uff then, then it is unfortunately the case that with a consumption of over 2 drinks a day it will have the opposite effect. Excessive consumption and consumption of alcohol is directly linked to weaker bone structure and lower bone density, so make sure you moderate your intake.
