STUDY: Strawberry Reduces Cholesterol Levels

Fresh, Norwegian strawberries are AMAZING! And then it is extra nice to know that according to a recent study, they reduce cholesterol levels and reduce the level of 'bad fat' in the body, while providing a powerful supplement of antioxidants and nutrients.

- What did the study show?

  • Reduced total cholesterol level
  • Improved antioxidant function
  • Improved coagulation and general blood function
  • Improved heart function
  • Reduced risk of cardiovascular disease

- Where was the study published?

The study was published in the acclaimed research journal Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry. In the study, the selected people received a high number of strawberries in the diet for 1 month, before measuring a number of results again.

- How does it work?

Strawberries contain a variety of healthy nutrients. In particular, the high level of antioxidants has a number of positive health benefits.

- Enjoy your strawberries in their natural form for best effect

The same results will unfortunately not apply if you pour in lots of cream, custard and sugar - but if you enjoy them in their natural form then you can get a number of positive health benefits from this - and not least it tastes absolutely beautiful!
